Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the much-anticipated Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid in the Indian market. Building upon the success of the hybrid-equipped FZ-S Fi Hybrid, the new FZ-X variant is priced at ₹1,49,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the standard non-hybrid version continues at ₹1,29,990. At the core of the Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid lies Yamaha’s revolutionary Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system, the same hybrid technology previously introduced in the FZ-S lineup. This system enables battery-assisted acceleration and integrates an automatic stop-start system that cuts off the engine when idling and restarts it smoothly with a clutch pull.
