Things did not go smoothly as we had hoped for the supply chain. We had some problems with the supply chain I mean the supply chain hiccups, because of the issues in the Red Sea. This caused the shipping costs to go up by 15 percent. We also had a problem with the chips there was a shortage of chips. This meant that the delivery of 2 lakh units was delayed. The supply chain hiccups and the chip shortages were not the issues we faced. We also had to deal with the changes in the currency values the rupee was at ₹85 for every dollar. This put a lot of pressure, on the supply chain and squeezed the margins of the supply chain. The supply chain hiccups and the chip shortages and the currency fluctuations all affected the supply chain.

The Society of Automobile Manufacturers which is also known as SIAM says that the PLI scheme is really helping to increase production. This PLI scheme is giving out a lot of money twenty five thousand crore rupees to help companies grow. Some ports, like JNPT are doing a job and have even handled a record number of shipments around five lakh CBU shipments. So are the workers causing any problems? Not really, because they are happy, with the ESOPs and the training programs they are getting. The PLI scheme is making a difference here.
