Sources reveal that the company is evaluating compatibility of its turbo petrol engine with CNG fuel. The current ex-showroom price of Skoda Kushaq ranges from ₹8.25 lakh to ₹13.99 lakh.

2. Tata Curvv CNG

 Upcoming CNG Cars

The Tata Curvv CNG was recently spotted testing for the first time near Pune. It is set to become only the second car in India (after Tata Nexon) to offer all four fuel options: Petrol, Diesel, CNG, and EV.
The Curvv CNG will come equipped with Tata’s twin-cylinder technology, already seen in Nexon, Altroz, and Tiago CNG models.

It will compete directly with Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which use a single-cylinder setup. The expected launch window is Diwali 2025 (Oct–Nov), and the CNG variants may cost around ₹1 lakh more than the petrol models.
Besides the manual gearbox, an automatic transmission could also be offered.

3. Kia Carens CNG 

 Upcoming CNG Cars

Kia India will enter the CNG segment with its first model, the Carens Clavis, expected to launch by the end of 2025. This was confirmed by Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President & Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India.

The Carens CNG will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.

“As CNG volumes grow, we’re working on the CNG option. But we want to ensure it’s the best CNG car in its class,” said Brar. “If our testing is successful, we will introduce it in the Carens.”
