Designed specifically for young, urban commuters, the Orbiter Electric Scooter targets the Gen Z audience with its tech-friendly features and affordable price tag of Rs 99,900 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). With existing models like the iQube and the X already in TVS’s lineup, the Orbiter stands out with a fresh design and a pack of practical features.

The Orbiter Electric Scooter sports a minimalist yet modern boxy design that appeals to urban riders. It features a wide LED headlamp with integrated DRLs and turn indicators, along with a flat footboard and clean LED tail lamps that enhance its edgy look. 165 mm ground clearance and 783 mm seat height for comfortable riding
-
Spacious 34-liter under-seat storage, fitting two half-face helmets

Performance and Riding Experience of the Orbiter Electric Scooter
Performance-wise, the Orbiter Electric Scooter accelerates smoothly from 0 to 40 kmph. It achieves a top speed of around 46–48 kmph in Eco mode and up to 68 kmph in City mode. The realistic range is approximately 140–150 km per charge, slightly lower than the IDC-claimed 158 km but still competitive in this segment.
Riding the Orbiter Electric Scooter in urban traffic is agile and confident, with responsive handling around corners. The only minor drawback is the somewhat tight footboard, which may feel restrictive for riders taller than 5’9”. The cruise control and hill-hold assist further add to the convenience during city rides.
Should You Choose the Orbiter Electric Scooter?
If you seek a practical, feature-rich electric scooter within a budget, the TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter offers excellent value. It caters perfectly to daily city commuting needs and appeals especially to the tech-savvy Gen Z crowd. However, for riders aiming for highway rides and high-speed thrills, other electric scooters with more power and top speed might be better choices.
